Office of Project Wellsprings

Project Wellsprings is funded by a grant through the Governor's Office Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities Program, and is a program implemented by the Catholic Diocese of Lafayette in the eight civil parishes that mirror the State's Department of Health and Hospitals Region 4 and is comprised of Lafayette, St. Landry, Evangeline, Acadia, Vermilion, Iberia, St. Martin and St. Mary parishes.

Project Wellsprings provides skills and prevention building workshops and resources to schools and church parishes, as well as, service and prevention organizations throughout the eight civil parishes. Workshops and trainings are available in bullying, conflict resolution, family skills, parenting, peer mediation, and substance abuse. Workshops are provided to church parishes, schools, and other organizations.
